When Natalie Hayes was attending Bountiful High School, her family was living on a busy road in Bountiful City. The road needed to be widened and the City was claiming eminent domain. Her Dad was asking questions, negotiating, researching and investing time to preserve his property while also supporting the necessary infrastructure needs. The neighbors on the street were disappointed and frustrated while signing away their property and rights. They didn’t believe they could take any action. Natalie was on the debate team and acting as the Editor of the school newspaper, so this naturally intrigued her. She got involved. This is when Natalie learned of her passion for representing people and evaluating issues from multiple perspectives.
In the 30 years since then, Natalie has had many experiences representing people, creating a strategy, and making a difference. She co-owned Utah’s premier dog training business with her husband of 29 years. They learned about people and relationships while training service animals for the disabled community, assisting with search and rescue work, training dogs for movies, instructing police/airport training, partnering with Veterinarians to create an understanding of canine behavior and helping people understand their pets. After 13 successful years, they closed their business and Natalie joined the O.C. Tanner Company with an entry-level position. She quickly moved throughout the organization and had many opportunities. As a result of her hard work and personal investment, she earned a position as the Vice President of Client Success where she is responsible to provide leadership, vision, and strategy. She is also responsible to advocate for Clients and her team members. Inspiring creativity and innovation by simply celebrating people is her greatest leadership reward.
Natalie has a proven track record as a Leader, she lives in our community and has implemented change. She’s informally polled many of Bountiful’s residents and they want a change. She is the perfect candidate and needs your vote for City Council. Vote Natalie Hayes to inspire our future.
